I Would Start a Business, but I'm Afraid I Would Fail.

I woke up this morning to my friend asking: Where would you go and what would you do if you had no fear?

And this one guy said: I would start a business, but I'm afraid that I would fail.

Soo many things struck me when I read this. But the most important thing is: You're not alone. And if you're reading this you've probably had a similar thought: "I would fail, people will laugh at me, I'll be broke, I'll waste so much time..." Whatever it is. And I want you to know - you're not alone.

We all have to come face to face with our fear, and this is a lesson I'm learning lately - and here is what helps me. I will just copy & paste what I told him:

Shooot, you are definitely not alone. All business people have this same fear in some sort of way! "What if I fail? What if I'm not good enough. What if no one likes me? I've never completed anything before." So you never start. Or you over-educate yourself until you feel "ready". Here's some truth:

You'll never be ready. There will never be a right, perfect time. And FEAR kills more dreams than you failing ever will. So you must first believe that you can do it. Because hope breathes life. Something that encourages me is this idea of taking imperfect action & doing it for fun. Let's just dream:

• In your wildest fantasy: What kind of business would you start? What will the name be? What service/product will you offer or provide? Doesn't have to be perfect. No one is going to grade you or laugh at you. Just start to see your dream form! :)

Because really, the world is waiting on you to step up and become who you truly are.

There will be naysayers and haters, of course. But one of our greatest missions while we are on this planet is to step up and become our truest selves. Because it's in this - that we can truly love and serve others! Business is simply just your way of serving others & enriching the lives of others (which inadvertently enriches your life as well:

Usually with income and great relationships) Which fills Christ with so much joy to see you living out of your passion and your heart! AND helping his other children!

ACTION STEP So, go back to your dream! What business are you starting? What would you do if you knew you couldn't fail? Give details, wild elaborate details. Because heres the truth: It can happen. So start taking small, imperfect action as if you knew you couldn't fail.
